offshore account, enlighten me please?
actually it makes sense now that you mention that. I read article here.. http://www.sec.gov/litigation/litreleases/2013/lr22683.htm

isn't this illegal? I am wondering is this the reason most of the shareholders on vplm are offshore companies?
Per my understanding US citizens are barred from owning trading account offshore which is not regulated by the SEC, i am not about to go to jail to trade penny stock. I will stay with US brokers. they are regulated and lawful.
