I Don't like promos. As you said it's only for one reason...
I think AMBS issued new shares even at lower prices. So I think AMBS didn't asked for it and it's done by the promo companies by themselves.

If AMBS wants to have a big big promo they can wait until the news release about a JV for the diagnostics.
