Well, yeah, I am getting royalties off the lease. Lease runs until well expires. My lease says I can get gas "at arm's reach"..... fancy way of saying: if you have the tools and technicals, and you're in the right spot at the right time, you might have a chance of getting some.

My brother works in the gas field and I asked him about tapping the line: His reply? You've got to be an idiot, and think I'm a bigger one, if you think I'm tapping into that kind of pressure.

If it was me drilling the wells? I would have hooked up everyone and their brother in the process. I never turn down a paying customer. But McClendon thought........ oops, that's right..... he's gone now....

Maybe he should write books and put them on Amazon......
