Keith Barron did an interview back in March. He was asked if a 1M oz deposit was worthwhile. He answered yes, and he stated an interesting point: the average grade of gold mined then was 1.2 grams per ton.

The head grade for profitable underground mining operations in the Timmins camp is 4-6 g/t Au. 1.2 g/t au is applicable to either open pit or bulk mining models. Your remarks while well-intended are misleading because EXSFF has switched the "story" from the HMC "underground/hinge point/north limb/south limb" to "open pit shallow model". So which is it?

This Dr. Barron might have asked the Equadorian government about their confiscatorial policies before he told Kinross to buy it because they just wrote it off to the tune of $600m (plus). But thanks for comin' out, Doc.
