"it is not rocket science to develop an extended release niacin pill."

I take a product called Slo-Niacin. It is supposedly a controlled release Niacin product. It is sold over the counter.

I don't know how this might compare to Niaspan, but I would suspect it would have similar effect. Anybody know about this product?
