HRVE merger: any truth to this rumor posted 12/5 on HRVE message board on Yahoo? If true, would be a nice fit and access to Nasdaq in one shot.

maybe.. motge is looking to buy harveys.. first offer was rejected but 2nd offer looks good... motge owns sound city. they want to use the sound city stores for harveys and make sound city an internet sales store.. sound city just opend a new wearhouse and a new store last week.. not bullchit good friend works there and gave me the buzz.. sales are bad there best buys is killing them.. harveys is a high priced store selling alot of harmon kardon stuff but sales arnt too good there yet.. xmas shopping should do better as they are in high income areas like bergen county.. Im not saying buy either stock.. just keep an eye on it. heres motge's website..

no info on the sale of harveys on that sight but as soon as the deal is done ( if it goes thru) should be a nice jump in hrve.. if not oh well.. im takeing a gamble it does
