What makes you think that mgt tip off data not being good and why would they hold the results some 21 months after completed enrollment?

I do not see why management would have needed to make the "disconnect" remark if the issue was PC's MOS being low (when the HR was decent). So I tend to assume the disconnect is in 1st line NSCLC. This jives with the "move the needle comment" (albeit the facts seams to be questionable there). Also, the question from the banking dude raised a red flag.

As to length of trial, I suspect both arms will do very well wrt OS. One can argue that unexpectedly large response rate in the control arm will not effect OS, but I can equally well argue that those patients came in very "healthy" for reasons that may or may not be known. And as such that may drive OS in that arm or both arms.
