1. I don't think anybody (except the company) knows how much KSU is compensated until the financials come out. I know, I know, they're late. What else is new?
2. Who says the AAPT employees that work at KSU don't live near KSU? Who says the AAPT employees that work at the warehouse don't live near the warehouse? That would seem pretty efficient to me.
3. As far as the liability and worker's comp, any employer is responsible for that for their employees. For the driving aspect, we don't know how the product gets from KSU to the warehouse. I suspect the transportation is handled by a transport company. Thus, offsetting the cost of worker's comp, liability, driver's pay, renting or purchasing a truck, etc. And, I suspect costing LESS than all those items. MANY, MANY companies with offsite production facilities do this to save costs.
