I was thinking the same. They are throwing these "bad" news about winding down fannie mae when they know it wont ever happen. They do it to make people scared and pick up the consumers cheap shares. Its working because of the huge gains the last two weeks and now people want the prices to rise fast like that again. The Gov is not stupid. Smart ones see this positively.
