I think 100 million shares of common is not miniscule by any means. You must be extremely wealthy if you think so, lol. I think they are just diversifying. Probably hold the commons for appreciation and the preferred for possible dividends. If you cannot find a reason for yourself to buy the commons, then buy the preferred shares. Preferreds are less risk, but not as volatile. Great sign either way.
