The last thing Christie needs while cruising to a "W" in Nov is to complicate things by appointing a controversial fill-in for Lautenberg's seat...Another name that comes to mind is former NJ Repub gov Christine Todd Whitman, but she can anger nat'l Repubs as she's outspoken - a trait of folks from NJ. ;)
