Mojo, the poster HR improvement is awesome

From your nice handout, (with edits of Bavi's numbers in place to make things clear):

The correct interpretation of Bavi's hazard ratio of .662 means that our 2nd line NSCLC Bavi treatment caused the patient to progress more slowly to an event in time when compared to control, and that a Bavi-treated patient who had not yet progressed to an event by a certain time had a 34% (previously 27%) less chance of having progressed to an event at the next point in time when compared with someone in the control group.

There is an 11% (previously 21%) percent chance that our results are attributable to chance.

OK, so the hazard ratio drops 26% more (it was already quite good) while the p value is essentially reduced by half. All this while treating an advanced brutal cancer second-line.

Puh-leez.

Yeah, I'm with you. Bavi is kicking a** more than ever.

Best,

Joe
