Also the Fed didn't have the ability to fully dilute the USD in 1933 because of its relationship to gold. Today that relationship to gold is non existent thus the ability to "confiscate" wealth from the American people.

Americans don't own gold and you can't take away what they don't have. The smart move is to go after the remaining 4% of purchasing power the USD still retains today. Wipe it out, send the gold east and you have successfully redistributed global wealth
