Welcome to the iHub message board for Carmanah Technologies. Carmanah is a small company that has big ideas for a newly emerging space - solar-powered LED lighting solutions. Carmanah has been developing this technology since the mid-90's and has succeeded in winning US Coast Guard and Canadian Coast Guard approval for their marine lighting products. Other applications include transit (bus stops and shelters), roadway hazard lighting, railway, aviation and landscaping. The company did about $6MM in revenues in 2002 and plans to do about $10MM in 2003. The company is profitable and plans to be in every year going forward.
