It sure did and it didn't take long to wipe out the fish. All the snails died too. Last weeks sometime, I was looking at it and this 'white smoke' was coming from it, from what I read it was most likely a stressed induced spawn. It knew it was dying then and tried to perserve the species by trying to spawn. I should've taken it out then but, hindsight is 20/20.
