Prosecuting crimes is not intended to be a money-making effort. The purpose is to serve as a deterrent.

I have never commented on this case in any real way. But I will simply say a 5 year bar from the SEC to a real director or executive would be devastating. It is a career punishing. But to a scam artist running a scam it is nothing. He has no career after this anyway.
