Thanks for the response Vendit....I'm beat, so will make this quick.

I agree with much of what you say....thats one reason why I think the line should be drwn clearer on places like the parking lot. Sure it's nice to have a place to tell people to take their differances, but bottom line is if you want this place to be a respected place, with as you say 99% good posts and etc......then the parking lot is a good idea, but still needs to be much stricter with what is allowed. Bottom line, if IHUB is trying to attract the true investor, then who gives a crap if they put down very strict rules, and ban the hell out of anybody with 2 strikes. Simple as that. It will keep the yahooligans away, or they will be banished for good, no if's and's or but's about it.....after all, thats not the type of person ihub is looking for.

As for my idea on the thread for banned posts....I am just trying to think of a happy median. No matter who deletes or approves it, many are left wondering....the person that got deleted is upset, and others are upset because they cannot judge whether the post should be deleted and everybody wastes time arguing back and forth......you yourself even said it takes an enormous amount of time to keep up with things.......this would make it so much easier......mainly for Bob I guess, if he is the one handling the complaints. If the off topic post doesn't belong, instead of deleting it, send it to another thread where it can sit and then nobody is mad. I mean, if you have the parking lot, then you may as well have a thread for banned posts.......I understand wating to keep the integrity of the site at a high level, but like I said, if so, this may help, not hurt. It satisfies all parties and gives nobody the right to bitch, while saving bob alot of time, as posts wouldn't be deleted by the chairmen, they would just be moved.

As far as my own actions....I readilly admitt to getting carried away on the parking lot with paule and me. ny.....bottom line is I was trying to discuss a topic with Matt...a serious topic, and these two guys jumped all over me.....Matt, in a public and private response to me...said it was all for fun and etc, etc.....and not to take things so seriously. So I returned the favor and flung the insults back to prove two things. One, If I am attacked, i will defend myself and two, there needs to be a finer line drawn in the parking lot. yep, lets go there for our disagreements and keep the threads clean, but I still think the rules should be much stricter....the type of banter me, NY and paul were engaging in just shouldn't be allowed.....so I was not only returning the favor of those who insulted and attacked me, but also hopefully opening up the eye's of ihub that they need to be stricter if they are serious about making this a legit site.....anyway...looks like me, paul and NY kissed and made up...but I hope the point was made......the parking lot is a good idea, but mature discussion should only be allowed......ban the hell out of those that don't abide by the rules....and again, i do like the idea of a banned post thread. It appeases those being banned and those wanting to see a banned post, while making the chairmen and bobs job much easier. Nobody has reason to complain about anything anymore, and alot of free time of management will be gained...nobody can scream BIAS....nobody can say squat. Chairmen and matt and bob wont be spending all their time quelling the folks that are pissed......persnally, I think it is a good idea....as good or better then the parking lot. I think they have the right idea in limiting the categories, but the parking lot with stricter rules, and a banned post thread to make all sides happy, are a step in the right direction. Then you can have serious threads with serious discussion, with no excuses from anybody for anything, and far less fighting I would imagine.

As long winded as I am...thats about as "quick" as I can state things <ggg>....I am bushed am and outta here.....have a nice weekend.
