hey junk, this is an issue that needs to be addressed more i believe. I think its very important to compare the recent sales of individual channels to major corporations.

1. that College Sport Channel selling for 300M is a little scary. But that website is the "about us" section and what it sounds like to me is a well written PR guy. They use the term subscribers loosely and i think that CSC is a package channel because i also have it on Directv and have never subscribed.

2. I wonder how many subsribers that HBO has in USA. That would be a good number to at least compare with. I know QTN would be nowhere near that, but i think HBO would be the ultimate in subsribers.

3. It would also be intersting to find out recent buyouts by Time Warner Cable or other Corporations. Is TWC really buying independant stations or is it just corporations like Viacom?
