Kentucky doctor shortage to worsen under Medicaid expansion. http://bit.ly/1a7kfxZ
This is happening all around the nation. If indeed we can not provide a solution with the telehealth and EHR/PHR systems that the medical tech firms are pushing so hard for expect the doctor visit as something of the past. Expect days waiting if your not bleeding out and about to die. This little firm is in the midst of battle for the long term social well being of this nation.
And a lot of people know it. The dynamics of this stock are far reaching and will be a game changer. The partnerships that are already in place as they come on line will help relieve the demand for on sight doctors. It will bring a new era of better health for this nation. It will help remove drug abuse by tracking a persons medical record across all platforms. I will expect to see biometric scanners for you doctor visits soon enough. (AKA. finger prints)to confirm you are who you say you are. There will be less medical fraud because the EHR systems will cross match the medical standards of care vrs. what your doctor says he did. (hopefully) leaving open the option for more than the standard but with a detailed reason. It will drop that information into your PHR so you can have access and live data going back and forth from you to your PHR if needed. Yes you will see yourself or children with active blue tooth tech systems that will watch your vitals and constantly feed that info into a PHR. And in the event there is a reason for concern there will be alerts sent both to you and your doctor. The known medical issues like heart, diabetic, and the such will be the first to come on line. the pressures and stress and then chemical will come into play. But this is the important and vital part of the whole thing and it has to be law. This information has to remain private. No for sale not for use by anyone but you and your primary care provider. If this is not law it will not work. The reason is the moment you choose to step out of the suggested(suggested) care area then you will be in red flagged by insurance firms. or even worse look for the news not long ago of the family that moved their child from one hospital to another because they thought the care was not good enough. They went to jail and the child taken by the state. There has to be a private firm PHR with Zero access from others into your PHR information unless you agree to it on a limited basis. This is why MMRG is sitting in the right place on that issue. I spent several hours with top management of a 30 hospital firm the other day by accident not planned occasion. and they are scrambling for answers and are very aware of the needs of a EHR/PHR. Yeah I talked about mmrg and the offering. and thy have the info to contact if they choose. But that was not the jist of the talk it was what a great time to be in the medical management field, They are pumped with the challenges they are facing they really think they are going to be able to meet those challenges. Time will tell//
Oh in case you think i am blowing smoke out my..
