Crimson, the problem with that premise is that you are making the wild assumption that Silent Circle would make mobile/voip communications obsolete. VoIP is in its infancy and gaining steam. Not about to go away. Also, look at the legal side of things. Governments around the globe are disallowing companies like Skype and Blackberry because of the lack of interception capabilities. How in the world would Silent Circle be able to gain traction in this environment.
Bottom Line: Lawful Intercept is alive and well and about to brings in boatloads of cash in form or another
