Then why raise another millions and dilute existing shareholders? Obviously the company needs money urgently, or so we are told.

What is the rush?

And please stop pretending you don't know how private placements work. The company issues warrants which means free shares if you are short. Read free money. Not for you and me, but for the bankers, who short prior to the placement.
