Reading your post just now, I recall now Wilf mentioning a detail that needed to be worked out with the 'existing' domain name, 'and' that they were intending to keep that domain name (at least at the time two weeks ago when I talked to him).

With that in mind along with the old site being down, all shows that the new site is being worked on, whether they need to switch domain names or not.

The 'desire' for a company to build/expand upon an old website is not necessarily due to incompetence or willful neglect, but could be due to a whole array of issues or company needs.
