Sounds like you need to educate yourself on the banking system. There are still many banking outlets that allow a wide variety of options for people to get loans for proper reasons (like buying a home). You are correct you need a job and need to make ontime payments... If you read the news headlines you will see there is a huge percentage of people that follow those simple rules... Hence why Fannie and Freddie are showing value (isn't that why you are on this stock board??) If you hate bankers and the banking system you should possibly stay away from this stock I guess then?
