Many of Tampa Bay's smaller public companies pushed the deadline to file quarterly financial reports with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Dais Analytic Corp., Evolucia Inc., Infrax Systems Inc., Innovaro Inc., Magnegas Corp., Oragenics Inc., Paradise Inc. and Unilens Vision Inc. each filed reports for the three-month period ended in March with the SEC on May 15.

A handful of local companies have yet to file their quarterly reports, including the area's largest publicly traded firm, Tech Data Corp. (NASDAQ: TECD), which is restating its financials for the past three years.

Also yet to file for the most recent quarter is Aerosonic Inc., which has a deal to be acquired by TransDigm Group Inc., as well as Accentia Biopharmaceuticals Inc., American Commerce Solutions Inc., As Seen on TV Inc., Avantair Inc. and Comprehensive Care Corp.

The chart below shows revenue and net income, or comprehensive income when available, for the three months ended in March 2013 and for the same period in 2012.

Not many companies in the Tampa Bay with that bad revenues as Infrax! What a shame.
