Reasons why:
1) Don’t diminish the value of the CRAYOLA factor. If the kids bring in and separate the Crayons, why couldn’t they also, as a GREEN project, bring in and separate other plastic items for JBI.
2) I recall a video that showed the NY City waste collection workers separating the “recyclable” plastic that apparently has value for the city from the other waste. Why not have them, also, separate the plastic we need at the same time? I would guess that if NY City does this other municipalities also have separation stations!
