It's still a scandal no matter who's involved. It's inexcusable AND criminal.

Actually, it's only a scandal inside the brain rot of a teatard.

The acting commissioner of the IRS has resigned (aka been fired) in the wake of the scandal over conservative groups being targeted. He didn’t really have anything to do with the scandal, but then the real scandal didn’t have anything to do with conservative groups being targeted. Obama said “Americans have a right to be angry about it.” They have a right to be angry that it’s considered a scandal to scrutinize groups that are trying to get tax exempt status from the government in their quest to cripple the government.

There are no clear standards for how much political activity a 501(c)(4) group can undertake. Well that’s not completely true—actually there are no standards at all. http://www.nytimes.com/roomfordebate/2013/05/15/does-the-irs-scandal-prove-that-501c4s-should-be-eliminated/the-irs-should-eliminate-501c4-organizations The tax code clearly says that these organizations must only engage in social welfare work, but since 1959, the IRS has interpreted that as meaning they must be primarily concerned with social welfare. You know—like a gun isn’t a murder weapon if it’s mostly used for target practice. And now conservatives are angry because IRS employees have been enforcing the rules in a confusing manner? The rules have been interpreted in a confusing manner for decades.
