people have assumed they wanted the price lower, since they made it quite clear they were still looking to acquire more shares (47% leaves them a few million short yet for 51% control)

this is what people here have speculated/assumed.

think about the math.

1 million shares at 02 would cost 20 grand.
at 05 would cost 50 grand.

doesn't it seem cheaper to buy 1 million at 0025 for $2500?
