OK then I was just wondering did not look to see the short position was down so much of late. so the new bio side of this firm I would most likely end up with shares according to the amount of shares I have of mmrf? what is the most common practice. is it one for one or one of the new tic for so many of the mmrf stock that I hold what is the most common. 1-2 or 1-4
or do firms more often offer Preferred shares in the new firm with a time that they can not be sold. i.e. mmrf comes out and says hey we are splitting off our bio side we are giving the holders ---- Preferred shares in the new firm based on your current holdings of mmrf stock. but you can not sell those Preferred for a week month year... what is the most common time when this kind of thing happens. Not that I would want to sell right off the bat. But just wondering what the process would be.
Anyway.
have a good day.
