WRT those "early censors", most certainly some did clear up with the new data set. I will withhold any opinion on where that stands till we see the curves. I am not at the moment claiming this IS an issue (just disputing your implicit claim that it is certainly not). It is still unknown.

But the main point is your assumption that those patients who were still on trial and alive at data sample should move the median right. This is wrong. The stats are such that if these patients are to event the same as others the curve will be the same.

Think one minute about the delta between the Sep and Jan(?) data sets. Certainly some censors were resolved. Almost certainly this included both some of that early missing data, and some who had evented in the intervening months. The MOS dropped then, it did not go up.

And as mentioned elsewhere, we are now far enough down the curve where the patients still known alive can not pull up the median (that is the reason biostats use median, it is stable earlier than means are).

The "final" number will be almost certainly be very close to 11.7, and is more likely to go down a few tenths than up,
