Not even close. The theme is for fanatical AMD investors to temper their enthusiasm and learn ways to make money on a company whose stock that has essentially been flat in the last 20 years that it's been in business.

I've tried to highlight my idea of a powerplay. Sell now, wait for the bad news to propel the stock lower, and buy again once the AMD hype machine starts back up, which will be shortly after the earning's conference, or shortly before.

You don't have to hate AMD to want to make some money on them. You can take Elmer's advice and buy stock to write as calls to unsuspecting faithful who will buy AMD no matter what. Or, come up with a strategy of your own and share it with the board. This is an investment, forum, remember? It's not about bashing AMD and praising Intel, or vice versa.

It's about making money, so maybe you would like to offer a suggestion.
