Garcia #3 Summary of
Completion Data

2012
Status

The well is currently shut in
and awaiting a
frack
in the
Barnsdall
formation, the
primary
formation
of the field.
The well has been
being swabbe
d every other third day or so and
fluid levels checked every day or so. Fluid level build up is at an average rate of
around
1.5 to 2
bbls per hour, with a 10% cut of emulsified oil and a 10% at the bottom of the swabs from the
bottom of the reservoir of live oil, muddy water,
indicative of water invasion into the formation
during
drilling
and formation water. There is very little entry into the well bore
, having
swabbed
at a rate of about 24 to 30
barrels
of total fluid per day
. The well logged and cored good poro
sity
but low permeability (under 100 millidarcies

more on this subject later)
and permeability
. The
reservoir pressure,
from static tests of the fluid level in the well is
just
slightly
(likely around 5%)
under pressure due to its proximity to the Garcia #2 well, a location and a half to the nort
h,
but
is high on structure to one well that
same well. The formation appears to have some formation
damage, or swollen clays or shales in the formation due to the wellbores contact with water
during drilling.
is producing oil to the north
.
W
e feel that the well is
an
excellent candidate for
frack
ing.
Should this be successful as is thought, this opens up a new viewpoint
on the ability of
draining the field.
Cash calls will be made
to the
working interest owners to allow us to
frack
the
well and put the well into production. We are very optimistic about this procedure, have a good
bit of experience in the area and are looking forward to a succe
ssful well being put into
productio
n and the proving up what is considered a standard well stimulation technique in all
a
reas of the country. If as successful as we think it might be, this will open new windows of
opportunities in the field
