Who we are

John D. Gilbert, Director of Operations
M.S. Mining Engineering: Mr. Gilbert is a Project Manager and Engineer with over 20 years of experience in Project and Personnel Management. He has practiced in the nuclear, civil, mining, heavy construction and petroleum fields. As a cost account manager for complex Department of Energy Projects with life cycles over $500 million dollars, he is familiar with the operation and completion of large scale nuclear construction and demolition projects. Mr. Gilbert’s experience has included project engineering, design, development and management for mine sites, municipalities, federal nuclear facilities and oil field services companies within the continental US, Alaska, and internationally.

Dr. Martin Foote, Senior Scientist/Engineer

Ph. D. Geology/Geochemistry: Dr. Foote has over 30 years of professional experience in the management and operation of diverse projects within the fields of environmental research and remediation, mineral exploration and mine development. He has served as the Vice President, Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, and Group leader for numerous large scale projects. In these positions Dr. Foote has managed projects with total budgets exceeding $35 million, staffs of more than 25 individuals, and multiple and simultaneous task orders. He has extensive experience in the application of and procedures within the CERCLA process, applied and basic geochemical research, experimental design, data collection and analysis, and numerical modeling.

Jody Bickford, Project Manager/Senior Process Engineer

B. S. Petroleum Engineering: Ms. Bickford is a project manager and a senior process engineer with over 17 years of engineering experience in the field of hazardous liquid waste stabilization/solidification and environmental remediation. She has managed numerous projects throughout the Department of Energy (DOE) Complex that total more than $6 million over a period of more than 10 years with a staff of highly technical and skilled personnel. Her work for the DOE resulted in meeting ”major” milestones for several projects including the “3100 Cubic Meter Transuranic Waste Project” for the Radioactive Waste Management Complex at the Idaho National Laboratory. Ms. Bickford’s engineering and environmental experience has included research and development, treatability testing and full-scale technology implementation. In addition, Ms. Bickford has professional experience in the petroleum industry.

Neal Egan, Director of Marketing
M.S. Air Pollution and Industrial Hygiene: Mr. Egan has over 50 years professional experience in engineering. He has performed design, test, and analysis in the development of major weapon systems (Minuteman missile, M1 Main Battle Tank, and others); as well as the management of teams developing technology for the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense for defense, energy and environmental applications. Mr. Egan’s education and experience has enabled him to successfully interact with prospective and present clients at the decision-maker level; and with the top-levels of his past corporate management. He has been responsible for coordinating new project and funding identification and capture. He has represented past employers with present and potential federal government clients as well as those involved in federal legislative budgeting.

Lee Black, Office Manager
Program Management for Possessing Facilities Certification: Ms. Black has over 40 years of professional experience in organizational infrastructure. She has thorough knowledge of office management, budget planning and control, and overall corporate structure and administration. She has been responsible for company procedural manuals, forms management, security programs, and records management from inception through tracking for ISO compliance and audit purposes. She completed the Department of Defense (DOD) training for Facility Security Officer Program Management for Possessing Facilities and developed a security awareness program to comply with DOD regulations. She is proficient in the DOD electronic sites for individual and facility clearance compliance.
