Thank You to Our New Friends At SK3 Group

We (Dr. Charles Apel and David Hoye) are very pleased to have become a part of SK3 Group. Between the two of us, we have about a century's worth of experience with Cannabis, and the great majority of that has been concentrated on the study of the chemical properties inherent in this fascinating plant. We are very pleased to be able to come “Out of the shadows… and into the light,” as the folks at Harborside Health Center like to say.

Kevin Allyn and the incredible staff of SK3 are providing serious cannabis researchers, such as us, with the resources and tools to investigate and develop the medicinal aspects of the cannabinoids, especially the non-psychoactive components of the plant. In numerous studies at many universities worldwide, these naturally-occurring molecules have been shown to directly attack and shrink malignant tumors, greatly hinder the spreading of cancer from organ to organ, and completely destroy otherwise incurable brain tumors.

Along with the plethora of studies over the last two decades at universities worldwide, there has been an internet phenomenon of note. A Nova Scotia farmer named Rick Simpson has, for the last five years, been recommending large doses of cannabis oil to fight all types of cancer. The staff at SK3 is devoted to seeing this company develop a wide range of beneficial projects in the medicinal cannabis arena through mergers, acquisitions, and affiliations; along with funding and creating new start-up projects.

There has long been a disconnect between the culture that has championed and developed medical cannabis, and the world of corporate finance. We are very happy that the main goal of our team at SK3 is to do whatever it takes to bring this powerful medicine to all those in need, and to do so in a respectful, professional, and compassionate manner.

In addition, since our Lt. Governor has charged our team with the task of helping states and communities implement best management practices in dealing with the emerging world of medicinal cannabis, we are proud to be part of the team that will bring some sensibility to medicinal cannabis legislation and implementation.
