Mr. Rodriguez received his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. In addition, Mr. Rodriguez received his Master of Science from the Bouve College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Northeastern University and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, cum laude, from Seton Hall University.
Mr. Rodriguez previously practiced law as a solo attorney in Rochelle Park, New Jersey.
Prior to opening his law office, Mr. Rodriguez was a Special Agent with the Internal Revenue Service where he served as lead agent on numerous investigations related to income tax evasion, payroll tax evasion, false tax refund claims, mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, money laundering, mortgage fraud, identity theft, bankruptcy fraud and related financial crimes. As an IRS Special Agent, Mr. Rodriguez worked closely with the United States Attorney's Office and federal law enforcement agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Housing and Urban Development Office of Inpectior General and Homeland Security.
Mr. Rodriguez was the New Jersey Program Coordinator for the I.R.S. Criminal Investigation Return Preparer Project and Questionable Refund Program as well as the IRS representative to the U.S. Attorney's Office District of New Jersey Bankruptcy Task Force.
Mr. Rodriguez's accounting experience includes general ledger preparation and analysis, financial statement preparation and reporting as well as financial systems programming and administration for small, mid size and large corporations and not for profit organizations. Mr. Rodriguez has been a Certified Management Accountant since 1997.
Mr. Rodriguez also serves as a Law Guardian, or child advocate lawyer on DYFS cases, in several New Jersey counties.
