A line of sight fixed wireless broadband connection is not a "WiFi network." It is old technology and is used primarily when an area lacks fiber optic cable or DSL services.

The speed being generated is likely due to the speed the fiber provider is supplying to the transmission radio. It's also uncertain how fast the connection would be if multiple people were using the signal at the same time.
