My belief is that the entire facility is not leased, thus the owner has to pick up a large portion of the taxes out of their own pocket and can't afford it.
Recently, we were made aware that the facility is for sale and someone mentioned that AAPT may be looking to buy it.
I would say it's a smart move on AAPT's part to wait for the "Tax Sale" and get it at a cheaper price.
That, my friend, is what I think is happening!
