Nice of you to point that out. No, it was me. Not proud of it. Just tired of the guy acting as an apologist for the cartel. Struck me as disrespectful to everyone who knows better at TMF.

Told elixe he was acting the stubborn jackass in denying the cartel killed RDRAM as the leading candidate for next generation commodity DRAM and attempted to kill Rambus as a business. In context, my comment to elixe was, "It's one thing to play Devil's Advocate to get others to consider the alternatives to a particular point of view. It's quite another to act the stubborn jackass in the face of facts."

On second thought, he may just be one of those annoying gadflys who gets his kicks by tweaking his friends over and over again. Stubborn jackass or annoying gadfly, it is a stupid behavior.

Think elixe is wrong about the prospects for Rambus's AT litigation as well. But my bet is it won't get to trial so we will never know.

Just my opinion.
