It is a game like chess only funner, it is the funnest board game I ever played. The characters are fun to collect , but it is a game. Basically you build your team based on points and on the figures some will have team abilities such as xmen or galactus. Anyhow. It is strategical , the dial clicks on each character until they get knocked out. But the dial will tell you how many spaces you can move and the range of attack and your strength. Some characters are flyers and some are ground. That is the simplest I can say it in a nutshell. To to a local comic shop , they usually have locals that play weekly that can teach you . I know I sound nerdy. But I am not really. Lol
