Interesting strained silicon timeline...
130nm Intel introduces strained silicon
90nm Intel adds silicon germanium to strain process.
90nm AMD/IBM introduce strained silicon, tout lack of need for "exotic materials". Retrofit strain technology to 130nm.
65nm AMD/IBM adds silicon germanium to strain process.
I am pretty sure I have this right... any corrections appreciated.

Humm..
Anyway, INTC also presents on their 65nm process at IEDM. It will be interesting to see how the transistors compare.
