Doctors are already prescribing homatropine to women. A doctor explained that the neck of the sweat glands get constricted in manopausal women leading to sweat leaking out of the side of the glands. That makes the women very uncomfortable.

Homatropine makes the sweat glands function normally.

This is now being used in the open market. So, I am not sure what is the purpose of FDA trials except to formally document that it works.

Under FDA regulations, an approved drug can be prescribed for a different usage at the discretion of doctors.
