Here is one study i found to show you that you are wrong.
"Adolescents who are regular users of cannabis are at risk of permanent damage to their intelligence, attention span and memory, according to the results of research covering nearly four decades.

The long-term study which followed a group of over 1,000 people from birth to the age of 38 has produced the first convincing evidence, say scientists, that cannabis has a different and more damaging effect on young brains than on those of adults.....The research, on people in Dunedin, New Zealand, was carried out by researchers from King's College and Duke University, North Carolina in the United States and published online by PNAS (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences).

"Marijuana is not harmless, particularly for adolescents," said Madeline Meier from Duke, one of the researchers. While eight IQ points on a scale where the mean is 100 may not sound a lot, she said, a drop from 100 to 92 represents a move from the 50th to the 29th percentile. Higher IQs correlate with higher education and income, better health and a longer life."

Heres another, because believing breathing heated plant mattered into your lungs has no repercussions is ludacris: " The British Lung Foundation, which commissioned the survey, said the findings were "alarming".
"New research continues to reveal the multiple health consequences of smoking cannabis, [yet] there is still a dangerous lack of public awareness of quite how harmful this drug can be," said Dame Helena Shovelton, BLF chief executive.
"Young people in particular are smoking cannabis unaware that each cannabis cigarette they smoke increases their chances of developing lung cancer by as much as an entire packet of 20 tobacco cigarettes." She called for a public health campaign to "dispel the myth that smoking cannabis is somehow a safe pastime".
The reason why cannabis is more dangerous than tobacco, per cigarette, is thought to be related to the way it is smoked. Cannabis smokers inhale more deeply and hold it longer than tobacco smokers.
The average puff on a cannabis joint is two-thirds larger and is held four times longer than the average puff of a tobacco cigarette. As a result, the cannabis smoker inhales four times as much tar and five times as much carbon monoxide. In addition, with each puff of a joint the smoke particles become more concentrated and more harmful."

You are one person out of 7 billion- bc it doesnt "effect" you does not mean it does not effect others. Ive smoked for the last 7 yrs pretty consistently and I can barely run a mile. I use to play 5 sports, one being xcountry. No way you can say the paranoia of smoking is not a side effect, its annoying as hell to take a huge bong hit and go into a public place or have to have a conversation with someone who isnt cool with you being high- idk parents or cops or other members of the public. Its not cool to be drunk all day, its not good to be high all day- and thats coming from a kid who smokes, you shouldnt need scientific research to convince you of that- should be common sense
