I completely agree. Eventually.... when the day comes with historic market caps.... people will be looking back and this just may be the perfect case study for not only pharma but for economics and finance ...

This really does have a little bit of flavoring for many backgrounds:

1) The science is #1 ... so we have to place this at the top.... without the science.... there are no supporters or no opposition : )

2) Next we have management and the decisions that are made.... you can try to blame the management but their #1 job is to surround yourself with talent and that they have done! ...even "if" you may not be a good leader.... the ones you surround yourself with are simply going to make you look great! This is not saying SK is not a good leader... time will tell but soo far I will only use Avid Bioservices just one of the many surprises and its paying dividends now

3) Taking the company private vs public... this of course SK and company had much experience with raising money and you can't blame the ATM at all... with the proper research... setting your goals and "having to play by the FDA rules"... of pre-clinical... to phase trials..etc... is needed and it takes money!

4) Now... you have a company in place... public company... management and attracting new employees that believe in your end-game... this one sort of goes along with selling the ATM vs. the other choice of selling the rights and/or IP to your drug! This was not done... and by keeping global rights secured... IP protected... and maintaining controlling interest will be (I think) the most astounding accomplishment by SK that will be noticed in future write ups of him.

5) Now.... we surely can't leave out politics and how governmental agencies work... mostly slow !! This is where the Garnick hiring has paid off big time and "HOW" they will get Bavi to market. Sure they see it works but they have to play the game ... as we ( at least I did ) sat asking soo many questions, especially about the breast cancer and Bammm... out of no where, we get a nice surprise at ACSO 2013 this year for highlighting the IST on breast cancer ( with back up support of their previous breast cancer trials) ... though the main event will be Lung Cancer... where if SOC can be established... it will bring at the minimum $4 Billion market cap on top of all other values associated with the Bavi pipeline.

6) What drug was Bavi 1st compared to .. Avastin. Get Garnick and as many G-people as possible because each will have brought their experience into Peregrine and its not really a young biotech anymore. You bring some more people in that made another company successful and what do you have? You begin to set the foundation for the future, where new hires are surrounded by those that were part of something much bigger where they came from and that starts to spread to the younger generation that go to Peregrine. This is not to say that they "need" to see co-workers from a former successful company such as Genentech.... just saying it does play a role "psychologically" ... whether we like to hear it or not.

7) Other side stories.... All is quiet on the Tustin Front and at some point when they "KNEW" this drug works they probably had talks and decided they had to move forward like this... which shareholders don't like... but they don't want to broadcast and tip their hat and hand on every move ahead of time.... because you need to stay focused advance Bavi so quiet time in Tustin may have been needed...and at some point when the opposition is cleared, SK will hopefully have an open interview talking about the many years of hush hush until the time was right.

8) As with any business... or life in general... things happen and sometimes your signature as a leader really becomes known at times of panic from some type of internal/external event... when you need to react to situation that can't be planned for or learned in school. Peregrine has had these moments and again, SK never did go public or make comments to reporters or shareholders that would show signs of weakness.

The story is still unfolding... and I do look forward to a future interview and talk of the progress and decisions made by Peregrine from the beginning.

So everyone sit back and smile every time you hear about Outstanding Shares ... or current stock price flows with the ebb of the market... or Bavi placebo... or management... or all the other mumbo jumbo talk that comes out of any articles : ) The opposition is pi$$ed that Bavi works, they don't like certain acts were discovered... and they don't like when they no longer have control over certain Federal decisions ... and when they feel like they are losing control ??? What do they do ???

They control what they still have control over... other pawns down the line that can write a story....so they write another article out of desperation and despair ...

The more important question: using CP's analogy...Is that domino broken further down the line ? It may be... but maybe they are talking to some middle domino and will let him stay standing as others take the fall down the line or back up the line......

I am not sure what domino's will remain standing at the end.... but I do believe Peregrine will be standing tall when all is said and done! ...with many cancer patients lined up and ready

May historic trial data... bring us historic market caps.

GLTA!
