IMO, articles won't matter for WDDD.

Right now the biggest catalyst for WDDD is VRNG. Even though VRNG and WDDD are different, people have the mindset that they're the same. Simply, they are both small companies that are suing bigger companies for patent infringement (again, they're different, but most people haven't done good DD to know the differences).

Right now, many (pretty much all) people who are invested in VRNG are holding the bag even after they beat Google in court. Why should they invest in another company when even with a win, there's no PPS gain. VRNG will eventually pop, but it might take a year.

It is impossible to deny that if VRNG had their pps that they're worth with the correct settlement price(probably about $7), WDDD would already be at a $1.50. Anyway, we must be patient, because WDDD can climb 20-30% (or beyond) on any given day before Markman (all just my opinion)

Legitimate articles from legitimate outlets WILL impact WDDD. The question is will there be any from such sources? Promotional articles from less legitimate sources (i.e. SA) will have little long-lasting impacts but will serve as vehicles for P&D action for traders. Good or bad, right or wrong -- that's just the way it is.

But I respectfully disagree that VRNG is the biggest catalyst for WDDD. As the market has clearly shown, there is plenty of speculative money to go around, but it is just being spread thinly due to there being too many bright and shiny newer toys that are getting their moment in the limelight right now.

The biggest catalyst for WDDD is the same catalyst that any Markman play has: the calendar. As we march closer to 6/27, it will become clearer and clearer over the next several weeks that WDDD's turn to bat is coming up next, and speculators will all be zero-ing in on WDDD. Right now, the hard 6/27 date etched into the calendar provides speculators with comfort knowing that they can go play in different playgroungs for a while w/o risk of missing the Markman catalyst. But these same speculators know that the clock is ticking and will be back in time to play it.

And the best part is that these speculators, including those who were previously in WDDD but took profits (smart of them to do so, BTW), all represent NEW MONEY when they buy back into WDDD.
