want background checks . . . is a made-up LIE (Propaganda) by the Government to keep the Sheeple on their side.

Obama says 90% of Americans support universal background checks

In his fourth major address this year , Obama yesterday reiterated the need for Congress to pass legislation that would establish gun-trafficking/registry, mental health checks, and universal background checks.

Regarding background checks, Obama claimed that ninety-percent of Americans support such an idea:

“And if you ask most Americans outside of Washington — including many gun owners — some of these ideas, they don’t consider them controversial. Right now, 90 percent of Americans — 90 percent — support background checks that will keep criminals and people who have been found to be a danger to themselves or others from buying a gun. More than 80 percent of Republicans agree. More than 80 percent of gun owners agree. Think about that. How often do 90 percent of Americans agree on anything? (Laughter.) It never happens.”

Obama here is conveniently citing an early-February CBS poll, rather than their more-recent one that shows that Americans’ support for gun-control legislation is waning.

Think about it: Do 9 out of every 10 people you know support universal background checks which would establish a defacto gun-registry?

Anti-gunners are in a losing position because the American people at large are on the defensive — this is exactly why they are pushing their propaganda so hard and cherry-picking facts. They will do all that is in their power to accomplish 1994 (and more) again. It is our job to stop them.

Send faxes to Congressmen, call offices, and send letters to your lawmakers telling them that increasing gun-control is more than a bad idea.
