Expediter13, I had thought that maybe AMBS was going to be deleted from the OTCBB and downgraded to the Pink Sheets for being delinquent in filing 3X, but it looks like that won't be happening. As far as all these different market variations of the OTC...QX,QB,BB,pink&gray...I'm not sure of the differences between the top three. All I know is the pink sheets are generally for companies which have been deliquent in filing a lot (but still file within the late grace period), and the grays I think are for companies which are not compliant in filing at all and the information about them is unknown and very sketchy. Of course that's not the case with AMBS. They were just late in filing 3 times within a 24-month period. I don't know if that's enough for them to be downgraded to the pink sheets or not. But they haven't yet so I guess maybe not. Yes, it can be somewhat confusing. Perhaps someone else would know more about it. Also I'm not completely sure if falling to the pink sheets would necessarily eliminate all the short selling, I was just assuming that perhaps it would eliminate some because most of the brokerage firms wouldn't support it as much on the pinks.
