Kimber1911: You never stop the spin do you. The article you refer to was in the "Dominican Today" on-line news in English back in 2009. The last paragraph of the article is what you're citing and it had nothing to do with MEI. It was a French group working out of the port of Luperon on the north coast. Even the article is not accurate because National Parks had nothing to do with it. This group was illegally using explosives on a wreck (non-yielding) on the northwest end of the bank and was later expelled.

The beginning of that article and the comments that were made by Goldberg were specifically relating to the wreck of the "Solo Dios Gloria" which Webber took MEI to. I know because I was there. The wreck was called that because that was the generic name on the bronze bell dated 1693 which Webber originally recovered back i 1983. The wreck had allot of potential but MEI never had the funding to expand the salvage, so what did we do? We sat at the dock more than not hearing the on going stories "the money is coming".

When MEI lost Webber (and us) , as a treasure hunting entity, they were finished and have been ever since. So Kimber 1911, may I suggest you go back to the water makers again and the company wholly owned by MEI. Oops! Its only about 7% or something like that???
