Interesting point, but not quite right. The IND was, however, filed 11/19/2009. Caldwell died 12/13/2010. The IND was approved by the FDA 1/3/2011.



the above isn't quite right,

November 22, 2010 the IND for Stargardts was approved
January 3, 2011 the IND for dryAMD was approved
