Nice info. I see the arrows in the old pic, clearly pointing to Katx entrance door and the posters for new tenants in window left of entrance door. Possible downsizing as you said, can't tell for sure. Newer pic shows company sign with non-working ph# over KAT entry. Must be OLD sign. Really can't tell for sure if Ken vacated, downsized, whatever,... LIKE YOU SAID. A working phone number would be helpful.
