California Secretary of State Processing Times Down… somewhat.

In November we mentioned how far behind the California Secretary of State was in processing corporate documents. Well the delay has been reduced somewhat, but it’s still causing problems for people wanting to get down to business NOW.

As of right now, filing articles of incorporation will take about 75 days if you mail them in and about 3 1/2 weeks if you bring them into the Secretary of State’s office in person.

This doesn’t mean your filing date will be out 75 or 26 days, they are date stamping things as they come in. But it will be that long before someone reviews and approves your papers and sends them back to you.

Looks like it takes some time
