dr."slime" decosta, still making excuses

"Pages 21-34 of this document describe the pathway just completed by Medinah in order to receive their full Mensura or "exploitation permit" (mining rights) at the LDM. Before the 33 Chilean miners got trapped and later rescued the process was arduous. Now the process is more of a nightmare with all of the new hoops and hurdles that SERNAGEOMIN has introduced. The net result, however, is a safer working environment. The worldwide mining community came down pretty hard on Chile during the trapped miners debacle and the actions of SERNAGEOMIN are pretty much under a microscope right now.

It appears that management thought they had their exploitation permit within grasp a couple of times before. Later I noticed from the photo gallery on the website that a toxic gas remover needed to be installed and checked off on by the inspectors. That might have been the hold up although SERNAGEOMIN has the right to keep finding deficiencies and demand solutions until the cows come home. They are under intense scrutiny right now so I would imagine the regulatory pendulum has swung way to the side of over-regulation. They have increased the number of mining inspectors many-fold.

The granting of a mensura only comes after environmental and water rights issues have been evaluated and cleared. The process is very time intensive because of all of the legal hoops and hurdles to negotiate as well as a very exhaustive formal survey performed by the government. The party seeking the mensura needs to serve papers to all of its neighbors basically asking permission to do the legal survey.

In the Chilean mining industry, the "value" of a group of mining concessions with a mensura in effect is much higher than that of a group of concessions without a mensura. Although finally receiving the key to cash flow is nowhere as critical to the prognosis for the success of a mining company as management's grammar and writing style (just kidding) I'd say we had a pretty good week excepting for that darn dangling participle in paragraph #4 that I may never get over. DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM OF YOUR OWN NAIVETE BY REFUSING TO DO EXHAUSTIVE DUE DILIGENCE ON THAT WHICH YOU PURCHASED SHARES OF. IF YOU CAN'T RECOGNIZE GOOD NEWS WHEN IT'S RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU THEN YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF CONSTANTLY LOOKING FOR SOMEBODY TO CAST BLAME UPON AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY THAT PRESENTS ITSELF."

I guess doctor slime forgot the company already told us they had all permits, and that they were only waiting for the shipping schedule from enami. Doctor slime is entangling himself deeper and deeper into the lies. Hopefully the lawyers take note
